DESCRIPTION
Taco's 15/16" Flexible Vinyl Inserts add to the protection rub rails give your boat. Marine grade flexible vinyl inserts provide cushioning to aluminum rub rails & hide fasteners giving your installation a clean, finished look. 5/8" of vinyl insert is visible when installed in aluminum rub rail. Inserts available in continuous coils for one piece, no seam installation.

Question: How does this insert go into the rigid base that is on my boat?

Answer: The insert will need to be squeezed together to make the bend and fit into the rigid base rail. Once slid into position the vinyl insert will have the shape shown in the picture. When it is not installed it lays mostly flat.
While holding the insert in the bended position, you slide it into the grooves of the base rail. Tip: a little water in the grooves helps the insert slide easier.)
