DESCRIPTION

Groco ARG Series Raw Water Strainers serve as an ideal cooling water intake filter solution for boat engine, AC unit, or genset. ARG Strainers a designed for installation on the suction side of engines and pumps with a durable one-piece molded sight glass that eliminates tie rods and gaskets for simplified maintenance.

  • Fits NPT threads
  • Quick and easy mounting system allows removal of strainer without tools
  • Cast Bronze body
  • Plastic filter basket
  • O-ring seals at strainer cap and between strainer head and sight glass
  • Spanner wrench holes in cover allow the use of SW-2531 wrench
  • Install with pipe or hose
  • UL Listed 255-D
  • Do not use chemical or abrasive cleaners on sight glass
Ratio is the relationship between the inlet diameter and the basket screen surface area. For any given size, the larger the ratio the less often you will need to clean the basket all else being equal.

GROCO will repair or replace, at its discretion, any part of any of its products which is determined to be defective by the factory or by an authorized GROCO service center within one year of the OEM installation date or the distributors original date of sale.

Return:

  • All returns must be recevied within 30 days of receipt of the order.
  • Manufacturer defects reported within 30 days of receipt will be supplied a pre-paid label for return shipping upon approval.
