PRODUCT FAQs

Question:
Does this product need hardener purchased also?

Answer:
This product will require the purchase of a catalyst (1 pint for 5 gallons ) our SKU#544069-1pt

Question:
Does Fiberlay Orca resin require sanding in between coats?
Bob H.

Answer:
The Fiberlay Orca 200 resin (P-16) does not require sanding between coats when used with only the MEKP catalyst/initiator. You do need to wipe the surface down with acetone between coats to get a good sticky surface for the next coat on your boat or other project.

Note that if you use any other additives, like a seal, peal ply or wax, you will need to sand between coats.
