Brian Kennedy Go2Marine / LFS Technical Support
Well Hello there, Aloha, Nice to meet ya! I’m Brian. I’ve been working for Go2Marine for 3 years now and look forward to many more. Go2Marine is a part of the Trident Seafoods family, and it shows. The company was built from the keel up by a family of commercial fishermen and their commitment to supporting the industry and boaters all over the world is second to none. I am privileged to be able to give our customers the level of customer service I expect to receive as a consumer and boat owner myself, and it’s a pleasure to give.
I have been working and playing on the water since I could walk and will be put to rest in the ocean when the time comes. Built my first boat when I was 7 with a couple neighborhood kids with scraps we “borrowed” from a subdevelopment in our neighborhood. We were going to launch it on the Intracoastal Waterway in Virginia and go on a Huck Finn adventure to Florida. We made it about 200 ft from shore and the boat broke up and sank, I’ve been fixing boats ever since.
I ran away from high school and started crewing boats at 17 and spent the next 30+ years operating vessels from 15ft to 150 ft across the Pacific. Charter and Commercial Fishing boats in Hawaii and Guam, Harbor tugs and work boats, SCUBA diving tours, dolphin and whale watching, salvage operations, I even got to spend 3 summers searching for sunken treasure. I have delivered Vessels from California to Hawaii, Taiwan to Japan, the Philippines and Guam. I’m old and broken now so the professional part of my boating life is kinda done but the family still enjoys tubing and fishing off our small freshwater boat and cruising the sound looking for Orcas and Sea Lions or fishing for Salmon and Dungeness Crab on our 26’ Tollycraft.
I’m NOT a certified mechanic but I have a wealth of practical hands-on knowledge and have done all my own stunts for decades. I’m here to help you do the same so give us a call and let’s go boating! Sea ya out there.
