C.S. Johnson makes the Gate Eye to Splice Eye Fitting, LS-3300, so boaters can a splice Dyneema fiber line to a gate eye on their boats life line system.

Both US Sailing and ISAF now allow Dyneema/Spectra life lines for offshore racing and Dyneema/Spectra is also a great product for cruising sailors that want to replace their stainless steel life line cables.

Johnson recommends you change out the lines at 4 year intervals.
